Victoria, BC, Canada April 14, 2010: Following a two day audit, Quester Tangent announced it has successfully completed a classification audit thus demonstrating it has the capability to deliver products as part of Alstom’s global supply chain. Sean Duffey, Quality Manager at QT said: “The excellent results from the audit on our quality system demonstrated a strong commitment to process and to the delivery of high quality products in a demanding marketplace.” The Alstom auditors indicated that Quester surpassed the targets by a “significant” margin putting QT in the top 2% of Alstom’s supply chain. Alstom also completed a capacity audit which looked at the various business systems and infrastructure in place at QT’s Bryn Road facility. QT again exceeded the targets. Stephen McKay, President and CEO of Quester Tangent said after the audit “this is an important step in our plan to forge a stronger relationship with Alstom and a solid platform on which to deliver more units to the train and locomotive marketplace.”
